Jeff Spooneybarger
Lead Pastor
Jeff has been with Storypoint from the very beginning. He is happily married to Shannon for 20+ years and together they have 3 kids. Full of laughter, dinner time at the Spooney house is far from normal…don’t be surprised if you have to duck to avoid being hit by a flying piece of chicken. Recently they discovered they could shoot peas a long distance by launching them from a fork. Mom still isn’t happy about it. On his days off you will find Jeff Scuba diving, fishing, or hunting with his family. More than anything else, Jeff is passionate about telling God’s story to all who will listen.
Teresa Furney
Financial Secretary
Teresa joined the team in January of 2018. She brings years of ministry experience with her. Though her official title is “Financial Secretary”, she is involved in so much more. Teresa is married to her husband Rocky. They have 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren.
Gabo Vargas
Mision Casa Pastor
Gabriel was born in Bogota, Colombia and has lived in the United States since 2000. That’s the same year that he and his lovely wife, Christina Perez, were married. They have two sons: Matthew and Thomas. They met Jesus “The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” in a small town near Neptune Beach, Florida in 2003.
