So many say “yes” to God, but then make decisions based on what is best for them. Harsh right? The truth is God has a plan, and it is a great and perfect plan. But, often Christians want “enough of God” to help them, to make them feel better, to help them succeed. But, what if God wants more than that? What if God’s plan doesn’t promote the things we desire in life? How much of our faith and our prayer life is pragmatic? How much of it is based on our own feelings and desires? What if we have it completely backwards? This week we learned about a Levite that sold his ministerial services for “Ten Shekels and a Shirt”.
